Single Phase or 3 Phase Generator? - single phase generator

Hello. I have to buy a diesel generator to work on my house. It must run at least 3 times on the ACS. The ACS uses about 1500W with a magnification of 4500W.
Here is my question. When I estimated a generator of 12 kilowatts, which means that each phase only 4000 kilowatts, not even enough to handle marketing can start?

On the other hand, if I am a single phase generator of 12 kilowatts, I will be able to run ACS 3.4. So it is better to have a period instead of a phase-3?

You only need the phase 3, when a team with 3-phase motors (such as large pumps for the municipal wells, etc.. May be) your air conditioning units from 220-240VAC, but I doubt if you have 3-phases engines.

If you are in the United States, very little, if any, households electricity in three phases. In fact, only very few power lines in residential and rural areas in three phases. As the evidence shows other three phases are used in large industrial plants. Buy a single-phase generator, and I suggest you find another provider if you do not know the difference.
